Bio Note

Dr R K Singh headed the Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, a prominent
faculty of Delhi University, as Head and Dean. He works in the area of organizational effectiveness.
He has translated his research into practice bringing various processual reforms during his tenure as
Head and Dean. These reforms have added objectivity bringing organizational effectiveness and
stakeholders’ convenience.

With rich experience, this academic has made valuable contributions through writing for national
and international journals published by Wiley, Routledge, Taylor and Francis, Springer, Emerald, etc.,
in the broad domain of managing human resources, focusing on effusiveness, learning, and
spirituality. He has been the Editor of Business Analyst. He is now on the editorial board and
reviewers’ panel of international journals like the Journal of Spirituality Management and Religion,
Business Ethics, Journal of Religion and Health, The International Journal of Organizational Analysis,
Journal of Organizational Effectiveness, Management Decision, Journal of Organizational Change
Management, Quality assurance in education, Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, On
the horizon, Business Analyst. In addition to a fusion of qualitative and quantitative research, he has
more than three decades of experience in academics, corporate training, and consultancy.

He has held various positions, including Chairman of the governing body of the colleges; member of
the Academic Councils of the University of Delhi; Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi Central
University, Maharashtra; Manav Rachna International University, Haryana, Lucknow University Uttar
Pradesh, Madhav Institute of Technology, Gwalior. He is a former president of the All-India
Commerce Association, Delhi NCR Chapter.

He is a member of the Governing Body, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. He has been associated with academic bodies of institutions like Pondicherry Central University, IGNOU, Sikkim University, SRM University, GD Goenka University, SGT University, SMV Engineering College, Pondicherry etc. He is an expert panel
member of the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

As corporate trainer, Dr Singh has successfully headed various training programs in India’s leading
organizations like Vedanta, Balco, Forest Research Institute (FRI), Defence Research Development
Organization (DRDO), Punjab Police, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Aricent
Technologies, , National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL),
Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Indian Farmers Fertilizes Cooperative (IFFCO), J K Cement Ltd,
Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyay National Academy of Social Security (PUDNASS), etc. His contributions
as a trainer have been well acknowledged and appreciated. His interventions at corporate have won
accolades among HR practitioners.
