Mr. Kishan Kunal is a senior Cyber Security and information systems professional with an extensive and distinguished career spanning premier technical institutions and key organizations of the Government of India. He holds a B.Tech, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), along with an MBA in Human Resources and Finance, providing a strong academic, technical, and managerial foundation in advanced computing and cybersecurity systems.

After clearing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, he entered government service as a Quality Assurance Officer (Gazetted) in the Ministry of Defence, where he was entrusted with responsibilities critical to national infrastructure, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. He subsequently served as a Senior Officer in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the Cyber Crime Investigation Wing, handling complex cybercrime investigations involving Digital forensics, Cyber threat analysis, and National security–related cyber incidents.

He later joined the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, as a Technical Officer-B (Cyber Security) in Pay Level-10, Class-I, Group-A, where he contributed to securing large-scale government IT systems and protecting sensitive national health data infrastructures.

Presently, he is serving the University of Delhi as a System Analyst / System Programmer (Class-I, Group-A). In this role, he is responsible for strengthening institutional cybersecurity frameworks, system architecture, and enterprise-level IT operations across the University. 

In addition to his core professional responsibilities, he has qualified more than 75 competitive examinations, including UPSC, SSC, DSSSB, EMRS, TGT, PGT, and other national and state-level examinations, and has worked across multiple government organizations in diverse administrative and technical capacities. Earlier in his career, he also served as a Store In-Charge with the Government of Delhi, gaining practical experience in operational management and public administration.

His primary areas of expertise lie in Cyber security, including vulnerability assessment, advanced penetration testing, secure portal and system development, and Cyber crime investigation. His work reflects a strong integration of technical depth, operational security, policy compliance, and governance frameworks, shaped by experience across Defence, Law enforcement, Healthcare, and Higher education sectors.
