Dr. Anviti Rawat, Associate Professor, University School of Education, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (India) is bestowed with excellent communication skills and multitasking abilities in various facets of Teacher Education and Commerce.
Her credentials include Ph. D (Education), Ph. D (Commerce), M. Com, M.Ed. and UGC NET and Certification in Socio-Emotional learning, Emotional Intelligence and Art Therapy. She holds over 14 years of rich experience (Teaching, Administration, and Research).
Her areas of specialization are Guidance & Counselling, Educational Administration, Teaching of Commerce, Entrepreneurship Education, Assessment of learning, Research Methodology, Educational Technology, Experiential Learning and Innovative Pedagogy. She has experience of teaching at UG, PG and Doctoral level (M.Ed., B.Ed., ITEP & Ph.D.).
She has three published patents to her credit, including one international patent—the UK Design Patent (2024)—and two national patents granted in 2023 in the domains of integrated business systems and skill development in rural communities. Her contributions to education have also earned her several distinguished honours.
She has been recognised internationally with the I2OR Excellence in Teaching Award 2025, the Indo-Philippines Educational Excellence Award 2025 by the University of Batangas (Philippines) and GRFC, the Singapore International Educational Excellence Award 2024 by the National University of Singapore, and a Certificate of Appreciation from ERU-USA & ERC-India for 2024. At the national level, she has been honoured with the Best Young HOD Award 2022 by the Nature Science Foundation (ISO Certified & Ministry of MSME), felicitated by the Avishkar Foundation (registered under the Societies Registration Act 21 of 1860) in 2022, recognised at the Incredible R&D Awards & Summit-22, acknowledged by the All India Students Welfare Council, and awarded the MSI Best Faculty Award twice, in 2017 and 2023, at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, India. She has authored several books, including Teacher Education: National Education Policy 2020, Educational Administration, Supervision and Management, Principles of Management, and Research Methodology.
She has also contributed chapters to multiple reference works, and her publications in various edited volumes further add to her academic credit. She has to her credit more than 25 Research Papers and articles in National and International Journals of repute and have received the Best Paper Presentation Award at the International Conference organised by Punjab University in collaboration with Curtin University, Perth, in 2024. She has been invited to contribute in multiple capacities to professional development programmes at both institutional and university level.
She has associations as expert/evaluator and member with DU,National Institute of Open Learning(NIOS),SCERT,DIET,MGNCRE,AICTE,Indian Council for Professional Education Mission(Registered under NITI Aayog Government of India and United Nation Organization, Geneva) and EUDOXIA Research University, USA. In addition to above she has organized more than 30 professional development activities for faculty and skill development activities for the students in the past.She has served as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for several national and international MoU’s aimed at enhancing the skills of both teachers and students at MSI. With a strong commitment to professional development through conferences, FDPs, and seminars, she has also taken the role of coordinator for organising conferences sponsored by GGSIPU,NAAC and other academic bodies.
