Rekha Bhaskaran is an Associate Professor at the University School of Architecture and Planning, GGSIPU East Delhi Campus, Delhi.

She has a vast academic experience of 24 years with architectural institutions in Delhi. She has worked on several architectural and urban design projects. She hold a PhD and M.Arch. in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

She has published several research papers in international and national journals as well as presented papers at international and national conferences. Research focus areas include on social sustainability, urban green spaces, walkable and safe cities, responsive urban design, placemaking, architectural and urban design pedagogy.
