Professor 
Professor Prof. Dhananjay Joshi is a Professor of Education in GGSIP University New Delhi since 2014. He has joined GGS IPU in 2008.
He is teaching to B.Ed, M.Ed and Ph. D. scholars from last 20 years. He has been Professor, Associate Professor, and Reader in the same University. He is one of the founding faculty members of University School of Education, GGSIP University Delhi since its inception (2008).
Prior to this University, he had been Head, Education Department, Maharaja Surajmal Institute, New Delhi and before this he was Project fellow at Maulana Azad Center of Elementary Education and Social Sciences, Central Institute of Education, Delhi University.
He has been teaching experience at Delhi University also. He is guiding to M.Ed Ph.d Scholars since 2008.
Professor Joshi has written various books on Education and valuable research articles in reputed journals as well as news papers of India and abroad. His books in the discipline of Education and Research Paper are highly cited by Research Scholars. His latest book has published on poetry at India International Center New Delhi. He has also contributed in many other reference books and several edited books in his credit. His Research papers were appreciated in many National and International Conferences.
Professor Joshi is also a well known Hindi Poet and Writer. His Poetic and creative views and videos are available in you tube also. Prof. Joshi has also published several poetry books including “Madhur Smrati Kamal” & “Anubhuti ke Swar” to be published by V.L. Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as well as Vachi Prakashan, New Delhi.
He has also selected as Senior under Officer at 1st Delhi Armed Squadron (NCC) 1992 to 1995 and received A, B & highest ‘C certificate’ at his college time. He has also NSS and Scout Guide Volunteer at School as well as University level. He has attended many training and youth integration camps in his School and College time. He has been youngest to attend Indo-Soviet (USSR) Festival in the year 1986. He had been Outstanding Player in his School and College time. Various sports prizes in his credential. He is an outstanding Debater declared by college Debate committee and received Best prize at Gandhi Darshan Samittee Delhi University.
He has been felicitated by many literary and cultural organizations including Prestigious S. RADHA KRISHNAN MEMORIAL AWARD 2008 in the Field of Education, Best Speaker at 26th Youth Parliament Competition Award in 1991 by Government of India. He has also received prestigious Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam National Youth Icon Award 2018, Dwarka Srijan Shree Award 2018, Abhimanch Sahitya Puruskar, Sanskrit and Hindi Academy Awards (Delhi Government) and many others in his credit.
Prof. Joshi has obtained his B.A (Hons.) Political Science and M.A (Political Science.) from University of Delhi (with specializations in International Relations and Human Rights).
He has also done Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Masters of Education (M.Ed.). from Central Institute of Education (CIE) University of Delhi. He has acclaimed first position at both B.Ed. and M.Ed. (with gold medal) in CIE, University of Delhi.
He has been felicitated by former Prime Minister of India Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji for getting the position at graduation in the year 1994. He obtained Ph.D. in Education in the year 2003 from University of Delhi at the very young age of 27 years, perhaps youngest in CIE (DU). He has qualified NET (UGC) in the field of Education in 1999.
Professor Joshi has written various books on Education and valuable research articles in reputed journals as well as newspapers of India and abroad.
His latest book has been published on poetry at India International Centre, New Delhi. His contributions include many other reference books, curriculum, pedagogy and several edited books in his credit.

Prof. Joshi travelled to distinct countries and promoted the fundamental ideas pertaining to teacher education at both national & International level. In the year 2017, he was invited to the UK Conference (London) where he presented his paper on “Mobile Learning Apps for Digital India” during a computing conference organised in London (UK). He has visited Oxford University and shared views on Indian Education. He is a member of the International Association of Researchers. He has visited National Sun Yat Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Hong Kong in 2016 and Bangkok University in 2019. He has travelled to various national & International Educational Institutions.
He was the youngest student of Delhi from Government School who attended the Indo-Soviet (USSR) Cultural and Social Festival (1986). Attended the Prestigious IVLP Program organised and Sponsored by the Office of International Visitors Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs U.S. Department of State in the year 2023
