Amit Prakash Singh working as a Professor at Univrersity School of Infomation, Communication & Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University since 2015.
Prof. Singh has Joined GGSIPU as Lecturer in 2001. Prior to this joining Prof. Singh has also worked at Dept. of Computer Science & AI, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad (2000-2001) and Banasthali Vidyapeeth (1997-98).
Prof. Singh has done PhD in the area of Artificial Neural Network from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar.
His area of research is Machine Learning, AI, Neural Network, FPGA based System Design and Embedded System.
He has completed one DST-funded project and is currently guiding one DST-MAIDS and DBT-funded project.
He has been coordinator of M.Tech. (Weekend) programme (2014-17) and PhD programme (2016-2022) at USICT, GGSIPU Delhi.
Prof. Singh is actively engaged in Lab and course curriculum of the Engineering Programme, especially he has been chairman for the lab development for the University School of Automation and Robotics, GGSIPU, Delhi.
Prof. Singh has established IPU-Innovation and Incubation Foundation and AIC-GGSIPU Foundation Delhi in 2022 and remain Director in Board of respective Section 8 Company till 2024. He has also established the Institution's Innovation Council at GGSIPU in 2022.
Presently, Prof. Singh is also handling additional assignment as Project Director of University IT Services, GGSIPU.
