Brief Profile

Dr. Kavita Solanki is Professor in University School of Law and Legal studies (USLLS), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi. She has joined GGSIPU in January 2006.

She is an alumni of MDU Rohtak. She has Specialisation in Environmental law, Law of Contract and Family Law. She has a Phd in Environmental Law and teaches Labour Law . She has numerous research articles & publications in reputed law Journals to her credit.

She has had the honour of being a Session Chair and Guest Speaker in many reputed Institutes. She has worked on 'Doctrinal and Empirical' work on several University sanctioned projects (FRGS). Some of those are Generic Medicine Awareness, Mindset of people about generic medicine, Socio- legal problems of Domestic Helpers, Labour codes and challenges, Creche facility.

Dr.Solanki has participated and presented papers in several National and International conferences and Symposiums in India as well in foreign countries like Canada, USA-Boston, Mauritius, Germany-Berlin & United Kingdom.

In the Year 2017, She was also awarded- "The Best Presentation Award in Germany (Berlin) by WASET Organisation. Dr.Solanki has more than 20 years of experience in teaching courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has supervised more than 60 dissertations at LLB and LLM level.

4 PhD Scholars had been awarded their respective Ph.D under her supervision and currently 5 more scholars are pursuing their Ph.d under her.
