Prof. Lather working as a Professor at University School of Manangemet Studies, GGSIPU. She has joined GGSIPU in 1999.

She has been conferred with the Best Researcher Award consecutively for 3 years i.e. 2010, 2011 & 2012 by GGS Indraprastha University.

Faculty of Economics and Management, Slovak University of Agriculture, Slovak Republic awarded Gold Medal to her for Excellence in Academic & Research Activities. She received International Achievers’ Award for Education Excellence by Indian Achievers Forum in collaboration with Singapore Chambers of Commerce and Thai Chambers of Commerce at the International Summit at Singapore in 2011. She Received Best Paper Award in the 8th International Annual American Business Research Conference held in New York, USA in 2016, Top Ranker’s Management Consultant Excellence Award in Research in Management in Jan, 2015, Szent Istvan Universtiy, Godollo, Budapest (Hungary) for excellent academic activities in 2010 and a medal from Faculty of Applied Economics & Rural Development, University of Debrecen, Hungary for Academic Excellence. Prof. Lather has been conferred with the Proud Women Leader Award, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.  She has also received best paper award 2023, at India Institute of Management, Gaya.

In Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Prof. Lather held many administrative responsibilities like Dean, University School of Management Studies (2008-2014), Director, International Affairs (2009-2017). She was instrumental in developing the first Organizational Development and Change Management (OD & CM) Cell at GGS Indraprastha University.

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) vested her with the responsibility of Chairperson of University Complaints Committee from 2008-2014, Prevention of Sexual Harassment at workplace, and Director, Indraprastha Colloquium from 2006-2011.

Prof. Anu Singh Lather was the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Delhi Technological University from 2017- 2019 where she established the East Delhi Campus of DTU with focus on Management and Entrepreneurship programme and created a unique Business School named as University School of Management & Entrepreneurship.

Presently she is working as Vice Chancellor of Ambedkar University, Dehi since February 2019.

Prof. Lather’s extensive knowledge and diversified experience in the education field has earned her positions on several renowned education Councils/Associations/Universities/Institutions of the country. Prof. Lather is an honorable member of Academic Council at Pondicherry University and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Member of General Body Meeting at Delhi Schools of Specialized Excellence, member of Board of Management at Graphic Era University Dehradun, Member of Board of Director and Planning at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Board of Management Member (Representative of the UGC) at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) and member of Executive Council, Deenbandhu Chotu Ram State University of Science University, (DCRUST), Murthal. Prof. Lather is Member of Board of Management, University of Delhi, Board of Management and Finance Committee of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Academic Advisory Committee of HRDC, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar – Haryana and Academic Advisory Committee of UGC-Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, JNU. She also held the position of Senator at the illustrious IIT Roorkee.  She is member of AICTE committee for Model Curriculum for UG degree in BBA and Research Committee, Association of Indian Universities.

Prof. Lather has been academically associated with various prestigious academic institutions such as IIT (Delhi), IIM (Ahmedabad), IIM (Bangalore), School of Planning and Architecture, Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), DRDO, All India Management Association (AIMA), Delhi Management Association (DMA-Member Managing Committee), FICCI – HRD for academics, research, consultancy & training assignments.

Prof. Lather has been the member of Executive Committee (EC) and General Council (GC) of NAAC-the Apex Statutory body for Assessment & Accreditation in India. She was also the member of Standing Committee of NAAC for Approvals & Appeals. Prof. Lather is member of Academic Advisory Council (AAC) of AICTE and AIU. Prof. Lather is also associated with UGC, AICTE, Delhi Board of School Education, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Education (MoE) in various capacities. She is also the member of Governing Body of National Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (NRLPS), Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India.
