Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Design Research and Methodology

Ms. Shubhangi Saxena is an Academician, Industrial Designer, and Architect, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University School of Design and Innovation (USDI), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, East Delhi Campus.

Started her journey in academics from MBS School of Planning and Architecture, Dwarka (Affiliated from GGSIP University) to University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP), GGSIP University and then first employee from the university selected to work on the East Delhi Campus. She has been associated with GGSIP University for the past 6 years and is one of the founding members of USDI, formerly known as Design School.

She is pursuing a part-time Ph.D. in Design at USDI, GGSIP University and holds a Master's degree in Design (Industrial Design) from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. With over 9.5 years of experience in academia, she has published five research papers along with presenting four research papers at International Level conferences.

One of the Joint Organizing Committee members of the 8th edition of International Conference on Advanced Production and Industrial Engineering (ICAPIE - 2024). Currently, the Program Coordinator of BDES Foundation Year at USDI, teaching vast subjects in Foundation Year, Interior Design and Industrial Design specializations. A membership of Council of Architecture and Indian Institute of Architects, an active Examination Coordinator of USDI single handedly managed all data and student’s work from 2021.
