Dr. Vaishali Singh working as Professor in Chemistry at University School of Basic and Applied Sciences, GGSIPU. Dr. Singh has joined GGSIU in 2001.

A physical chemist, working in the area of Nanosciences and Nanomaterials. Established the first Nanoscience research laboratory at the old Kashmere Gate campus of GGSIPU in the year 2005.

Current research area: "Mesoporous materials for humidity sensing, gas sensing and for hydroelectric cells".

She has been awarded the Best Teacher at GGSIPU in the year 2003

She Was a part of the core team from USBAS in getting the grant of more than Rs.3.17 crores from the DST to start M.Tech program in Nanoscience & Technology at GGSIPU.

She holds the administrative responsibiliteis held as Head, Centre of Human Values & Ethics Chairperson and University Students' Grievance Redressal Cell
