Prof. Amarjeet Kaur working as Professor at University School of Environment Management. She is also holding additional assignment as Director, University Centre for Disaster Management Studies since 2005.

Dr. (Mrs.) Amarjeet Kaur did M.Sc. from Kurukshetra University and Ph.D. from Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar. She has more than 25 years of experience in research and training.

Her areas of specialization are applications of Remote Sensing Technology in Environmental Management, Disaster Management, and Environmental Biotechnology. She has worked as Principal/Co-Principal Investigator of various international/national projects related to Environment Management. She has visited USA, UK and Japan in connection with study exchange programmes and conferences. She was also involved in Environmental Management Plan of Delhi using Remote Sensing Technology and GIS
