Dr. Shambhunath Bhat is an Assistant Professor at the IKS–EDS Centre of Central Sanskrit University at Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Vyākaraṇa and has over fourteen years of teaching and research experience in Sanskrit and Indian Knowledge Systems. His academic interests include Pāṇinīya Vyākaraṇa, Advaita Vedānta, Kṛṣṇa Yajurveda (Taittirīya Śākhā), Patañjala Yoga Darśana, Pūrva Mīmāṃsā, Tarka Śāstra, Sanskrit Phonology (Śikṣā), and Indian Knowledge Systems.
