Jyotisha Shastranveshini - (ज्योतिषशास्त्रान्वेषिणी) Major 2022 The importance of Jyothisha arose from the need to understand and predict various celestial events, and fix the dates of ritual and religious significance. Later it developed to include such branches of Mathematics. The ancient Indian scholars of Jyothisha subsequently made many significant contributions to the fields of Astronomy and Mathematics. Many aspects of these contributions by our great scholars are still to be bought to light. In this case research scholars in Jyothisha shastras are facing difficulties in getting sufficient materials for their outcome. To overcome these difficulties of Students/ Teachers/ Research Scholars national and international level in Jyothisha shastra, through this project we create an application WEBSITE in which all important materials related to Jyothisha Shastra may be available at the fingertip of the needed. In this way through this project, we can regain a comprehensive knowledge of our heritage and demonstrate the ‘Indian way’ of doing things to the entire world.
