Essence of the Topic- Kashmir Shaiva philosophy is the rich source of philosophy of language. It studies the relationship of language, thought and reality through the Vak, the ontological principle. In the thesis, the issues have been examined which have been expounded in the Kashmir Shaiva. Along with, the interface of language, thougth and reality has been focused on the basis of works of Abhivanagupta, 10th century, the versatile philosopher of Kashmir Shaiva).
Title of M. Phil. Dissertation: Abhasa: Its Philosophy and Aesthetics
Essence of the Topic- The topic is related to the concept of Abhasa of Kashmir Shaiva Philosophy, one of the branches of the Tantra tradition. Abhasa is the theory of manifestation of the world. This philosophical theory has been discussed in the context of aesthetic manifestation of the images.
