Processing of Agreement Dependencies in Hindi and Punjabi Other 2024 The findings from this study constitute the first-ever observation of agreement processing difficulties in a non-intervening attraction structure in an Indian language. These findings point to the centrality of predictive controller coding in the resolution of long-distance agreement dependencies, and thus, provide a window into the workings of the mind-grammar interface in parsing sentences in real-time in languages with unique grammatical properties. 25-09-2024 To 15-02-2025 (4 months, 21 days)
