Dr. Anshika Agarwal is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. She brings over fourteen years of teaching, research, and academic experience to her role. A university merit holder and undergraduate gold medallist, she earned both her Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

Dr. Agarwal is a Certified and Qualified Independent Director and Woman Director in accordance with the framework of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Her engagement with innovation and applied research is further reflected in eight granted and published Indian patents, demonstrating her interdisciplinary interest in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving.

Her research interests span a broad range of contemporary issues in finance and management, including sustainable earnings and stock returns, initial public offering (IPO) performance, interest-rate and inflation dynamics, capital structure and financial performance, mutual funds, business intelligence systems, and the growing applications of Artificial Intelligence in management and higher education. Her scholarly contributions have appeared in publications and proceedings from leading academic publishers and professional bodies, including IEEE, as well as in recognised Indian and International journals.

Her academic interests also extend to emerging areas such as social stock exchanges, crowdfunding, conversational artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled financial inclusion. Through her practitioner-oriented contributions to The Financial Express, she translates contemporary developments in finance, management, and technology into accessible insights for professional and wider public audiences. Dr. Agarwal has also received research support from the Institution of Eminence, University of Delhi.

In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Agarwal contributes actively to the academic and administrative functioning of the University of Delhi. She currently serves as a faculty member of the Internal Complaints Committee, University of Delhi; a Resident Tutor at the North Eastern Students’ House for Women, University of Delhi; and a member of the Managing Committee of the WUS Working Women’s Hostel, University of Delhi. She is also a Core Committee Member for the University of Delhi’s Annual Report.

Dr. Agarwal has contributed extensively as a resource person to Faculty Development Programmes, Refresher Courses, Workshops, and Professional Training initiatives. Her sessions have covered areas including research methodology, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence, finance, and digital tools, reflecting her commitment to academic capacity building and technology enabled teaching and learning. She has also been invited by NCERT, NIOS and Ministry's to serve as a resource person.

Her academic journey reflects sustained engagement in teaching, research, institutional service, and interdisciplinary scholarship, with a particular emphasis on connecting developments in finance, management, and emerging technologies to contemporary academic and professional practice.
