Associate Professor Dr. Manu Vardhan is a highly accomplished academician and senior researcher who currently serves as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Technology at the University of Delhi. Prior to this leadership role, he built a formidable academic and administrative career during his tenure as an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Technology, Raipur. Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Vardhan has made significant contributions to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain Technology. His research standing is highlighted by his success in securing competitive research grants from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, as well as financial backing from the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the International Travel Support (ITS) scheme and for organizing IEEE International conference. As an active and widely cited researcher, he has authored a substantial volume of papers published in prestigious, SCI journals and conference proceedings indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and IEEE Xplore, while also serving as an authoritative member of key technical committees for national engineering platforms. Alongside his research pursuits, he has maintained a robust commitment to doctoral mentorship, successfully guiding multiple Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students through high-impact research initiatives. In addition to his teaching and departmental leadership roles, Dr. Vardhan has consistently contributed to administrative and evaluative domains across various universities, where he serves as an external examiner for complex M.Tech. and doctoral theses. His professional trajectory is anchored by a stellar academic background; he holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the renowned Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad and earned his Master’s degree from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan. Dr Vardhan has deep subject matter expertise, with a structured approach to assessing academic standards and research methodologies.
