Prof.Preeti Vivek Mishra is a teacher educator with over 19 years of experience. She has been teaching at the Department since 2007; as an Professor since 2022. Her areas of academic and research interest include educational and personality psychology, qualitative research, education and mental health, gender, sexuality and education, and emotionality in educational experiences. She has numerous prestigious awards to her credit including the  Commonwealth Scholarship in Education to the Institute of Education, University College London,  MIT Scholarship, University of Delhi M.Ed Topper's Prize, University of Delhi B.Ed Topper's Gold Medal, Indian Psychology Institute Best paper award etc, Her Publications reflect her research interests; they have variously addressed educational policy, gender concerns as also mental health of teachers. She has done projects and has published with inter alia University College London. To her credit, Preeti has several international paper presentations and national-level consultancies in education. Her Academic extension  activities include collaborations with the NCERT, NIEPA, SCERT Delhi, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs' NEST Society etc.
