Prof. Aggarwal working as Professor at University School of Bio-Technology, GGSIPU. Dr. Aggarwal has joined GGSIPU in 1999 as Lecturer. Later on he has bee promoted as Associate Professor in 2007 and Profesor in 2010.  He has obtained Ph.D. from University of Delhi in 1994.

He has served as Dean, USBT, GGSIPU from 1/8/2018 to 31/7/2021. He has been awarded Best Teacher award for the year 2004-2005 of GGSIPU.

He has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience post PhD. Area of research interest includes: Phyto-therapeutics, Plant-insect interactions (protease-protease inhibitor interactions); Proteomics, Purification, characterization and regulation of Enzymes/Proteins; Bio-remediation.

He has guided 10 PhD scholoars and completed 4 research projects as PI/Co-PI.
