Dr. Dinesh Kumar is a Professor at the University School of Chemical Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, Delhi.
He has over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His academic and research interests lie in the areas of Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Sustainable and Alternative Energy Resources, Biomass Conversion to Biofuels, Solar and Biomass-based Energy Generation, Battery and Fuel Cell Technologies, and Energy Auditing. Over the course of his career, Dr. Kumar has made significant academic and research contributions. He has published more than 25 research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented his work at over 40 conferences in India and abroad.
He holds two patents—one national and one international—and has authored several book chapters published by leading national and international publishers. Dr. Kumar has successfully completed more than ten research projects focusing on biomass-to-biofuel conversion, solar and biomass-based energy systems, supercapacitors, industrial wastewater-to-energy conversion, and nano-material synthesis. In addition to his research achievements, he has been actively engaged in university-level administration, contributing to academic governance, policy formulation, and institutional development. His leadership and dedication have played an important role in promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and sustainable energy development within the institution.
