Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Bhardwaj is the Dean of the University School of Basic & Applied Sciences and a Senior Professor of Mathematics at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi.

She is a Fellow of Institute of Mathematics & Applications (FIMA, UK); Assessor, National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), UGC, Government of India; Fellow of Indian Society for Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation (FISMMACS), under IIT Kanpur, India Recipient of Government of India, India Meteorological Department (IMD) 27th Biennial MAUSM Award.

Visiting Associate of Inter University Center for Astronomy & Astrophysics (IUCAA) Pune, Young Scientist Award of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India. Appreciation Certificate for dedication, commitment, growth and development of the university for over two decades (25 years unwavering support) on Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the GGSIP university.

She has been awarded best researcher Award of GGSIPU (3 consecutive years.) Topper of University of Delhi with 100% marks in Integral equation & Boundary value problem. Also, the topper of Zakir Husain college University of Delhi in M.Sc. (Mathematics) and B. Sc (Hons.) (Mathematics) examination.
She has been awarded 4 patents, 275 research papers/ chapters/ articles, 10 books, 17 Ph.D. supervised and 7 are presently working. 29 years teaching and 34 years research experience.

She has Visited, attended and delivered 450 invited Lectures in International/National conferences. Subject Reviewer for many International Journals of repute. Life member of several international organizations in the sphere of Mathematical Sciences including Indian National Science Congress. Attended/ delivered talks and Chaired Technical Sessions at reputed academic conferences/ workshops across the world.

Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Bhardwaj is the Dean of the University School of Basic & Applied Sciences and a senior professor of mathematics at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics & its Applications (UK), a Fellow of the Indian Society for Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulation, a NAAC Assessor, and a four-term Visiting Associate of IUCAA, Pune. 

She brings over 30 years of teaching and 35 years of research experience in nonlinear dynamics, chaos theory, celestial mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, and machine learning. She founded the Nonlinear Dynamics Research Lab for modelling and simulation at GGSIPU and set up the Mathematics Laboratories for graduate students.

She has published more than 200 research papers in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC-CARE indexed journals (Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, IEEE, Frontiers, and Taylor & Francis). She has also written 7 books, holds 6 patents, and has guided 17 Ph.D. scholars to completion.
